Your Space

We are inviting you (artists, makers, thinkers and talkers from the general public, local residents and neighbouring businesses) to submit proposals for the presentation of ideas to uncover and support the town’s cultural heritage and creative identity.

Ideas can be presented via talks, lectures, discussions, exhibitions, performance, demonstrations, screenings, or whatever you feel is appropriate.

We are interested in supporting the sharing of ideas that connect the St Botolph’s Quarter to Colchester and beyond through culture and creativity. These connections can be made through social, geographical, political, gastronomical, commercial, musical, or other means.

Have an idea? Please complete the simple form below A steering committee made up of representatives from some of the partners who support The Waiting Room will select proposals based on their suitability and connection to our ethos. We will be in touch if we need any further information.

Alternatively if you would like to be kept up to date with events, activity and opportunities please join our mailing list or visiting one of our many open events.

If you would like to hire The Waiting Room for a private event, please contact us for details.
