Colchester Bike Kitchen
Colchester bike kitchen is a not-for-profit service teaching adults and children how to do their own regular bike checks and simple repairs.
You can also ask their volunteers for help, or just use their tools if you know what needs doing.
They offer the services for free, but charge for spare parts and request a small donation on a ‘pay what you can afford’ basis to cover their running costs.
The Bike Kitchen is open from 1-4pm every first and third Saturday of the month.
If you’re interested in volunteering, or would like to find out more, you can visit CBK on Facebook, follow them on twitter, or drop them a line via email.
