In addition to our open days each Wednesday, we operate an affordable membership scheme with exclusive access to our Maker Space.

Housed in Colchester’s former bus station in St Botolphs, we also boast a bar, kitchen, café, gallery and shop where members get discounts and priority access to exhibit and sell work.

Express an interest in joining below and read about our growing list of tools. Rent your own a resident cubicle, or join on a flexible basis to start a creative business, develop your practice, or tinker, craft and create.

Resident

£30 a month
(£1 a day)

Residents members get 24/7 key access to workshops and their own lockable think/work/storage cubicle.

Studio cubicles work out a just £1/day including WiFi, electricity, heating, lockable doors. Units can be customized to suit your practice. Access shared tools, book our exhibition/event space and use our workshop area.

Residents benefit from discounts at the Bar/Café/Kitchen and Shop.

Flexi

Pay what you can
(suggested contribution £15 a month)

Gain access to our tools
and equipment on a flexible basis. Book our exhibition/event space and use our workshop area.

The workshop is open to the public on Wednesdays and Flexi Members every Saturday. Flexi Members can also gain access to facilities when accompanied by a technician or resident.

Residents benefit from discounts at the Bar/Café/Kitchen and Shop.

Your business or community organisation can sign up to use the Waiting Room facilities to gain access to our tools and equipment.

Use our workshop to run your own group events with staff, customers or service users. We are able to tailor group membership packages to suit your individual requirements.
