All in the Making
Allinthemaking is a community interest company which offers a therapeutic service for special needs with training in traditional craft skills and help to become a self employed artist or craftperson.
Allinthemaking meets at the Waiting Room on the fourth Saturday of every month.
Led by Sally Reid in conjunction with our Maker Space programme of support begins with building an individuals confidence. Offering participants an opportunity to be part of a creative maker industry, where a diverse range of skills can be acquired, honed and applied. A signposting service then helps those seeking to move on to further education and training in a specific field.
The objective – as a collective and community interest company – is to produce bespoke, handmade, desirable and marketable products (often sold at our monthly Bazaar!) whilst providing the necessary support for vulnerable adults to develop new creative skills and confidence.
