Portrait of a brewer
In preperation for tonight’s Maker Wednesday with Andy Skene from Pitfield Brewery, we wanted to share this fantastic video, Portrait of a brewer from Paul Bates.
A story of independent beer, brewed in a traditional manner and in an environmentally friendly way. Canadian born brewer Andrew Skene who runs the Dominion Brewery in Essex, England, brings meaning to the saying that brewing is a form of art.
Each year I try to carry out a personal project that focuses on independent manufacturing. I think it’s important to remember that supporting independent and ethical manufacturing can be a more honest choice.
Directed, shot & edited by Paul Bates using the Sony FS700.
